Beach Manor, an Arts and Crafts gem, is the Rolls Royce of places to stay. Not because it was built 100 years ago for a director of the luxury car firm, nor even because it has featured on Channel 4’s ‘Britain’s most expensive homes’. It’s simply because it’s a beautiful home, full of character and comfort, right on the beach in West Sussex. If you like the early 20th century aesthetic of parquet flooring, carved wood panelling and leaded windows, you’ll love Beach Manor. And if you demand 21st century comforts, such as super-fast broadband, a 4K UltraHD home cinema with 87” screen, and air-conditioned bedrooms, then it’s definitely the house for you.
Capture the glamour of a bygone era in the spacious reception rooms, play pool, table football or chess in the entertainment room or hit the gym for a workout. Enjoy your own spa experience with a dip in the pool and some downtime in the sauna, steam room and hot tub. Later, gather in the brick-built gazebo, where the log burner keeps you cosy as you gaze out to sea. Use the outdoor kitchen and barbecue here to cook up an al fresco feast, then step through the garden gate onto the beach to watch the sun set.
The bedrooms are luxurious; all with TVs, most have sea views and private bathrooms. There's also a pretty, self-contained cottage which sits at the sea’s edge. The house and cottage can accommodate up to 16 guests (with extra beds available for an additional four guests). We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Beach Manor just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for up to six cars at the property.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online from any available supermarkets for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Beach Manor. Two wooden Mamas & Papas cots and two highchairs are available on request (cot linen is provided). Children's toys and books are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children around the swimming pool and hot tub areas. There is also a koi carp pond in the garden (with wrought iron safety cover).

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Beach Manor, subject to a fee of £100 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Beach Manor is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table seats up to 14 guests. There are an additional four chairs available on an adjoining table.

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Beach Manor. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
