On the edge of a golden-stoned village in the heart of the Cotswolds, Campden Retreat offers a heavenly five-bedroomed hideaway for your next gathering. From the luxurious Loxleys oak kitchen to the cosy cinema room, this is an exceptional house.
In the elegant lounge, sink into plush sofas, lulled by the warmth of the log burner, or play the baby grand piano at the other end of the room. Disappear into the study or drop down a floor for the rejuvenating cedar sauna and heated jet pool, and watch a movie the cinema room, with its wraparound sofa and 86-inch TV.
Outside on the terrace, through French doors from the kitchen, your manicured gardens give way to a nature-rich meadow and fabulous views. Fire up the BBQ, or for more formal dinners, lay up the beautiful oval table in the dining room.
At bedtime, climb the stairs, admiring the cast iron balustrade and Bruce Munro chandelier. The spacious bedrooms are a delight, with a four-poster here, a bath overlooking the Cotswold Hills there, four smart ensuites and a family bathroom. All with robes and slippers, Hypnos mattresses and luxurious bed linen. Drift into untroubled slumber and wake to tranquil views of the English countryside.
As peaceful as Campden Retreat is, you’re also within walking distance of the shops, delis and restaurants of Chipping Campden. Further afield, visit picture-perfect villages, catch some Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon and go paddle-boarding at Cotswold Lakes, before returning to your own little piece of Cotswold heaven.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Campden Retreat just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £2,000 during your stay at Campden Retreat. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
