Make yourself at home in the cool sitting room where light floods through Crittal doors and floor-length windows. Prepare for surprises at every turn, from the plush cinema room with surround-sound to the fabulous kitchen with black and white marbled walls. The best surprise? The secret bar. Enter through the hidden door in the bookcase to this cosy, colourful room, perfect for parties and late night stories over a whisky.

If you love luxury, this is the house for you. Put on your sarong and sunglasses and drape yourself on a lounger by the heated swimming pool. Explore a little further for the ping pong table, fully equipped gym, sauna, ice bath and massage room. Mix cocktails at the outdoor bar before firing up the Green Egg barbecue and pizza oven. Back inside, throw a log on the wood burner and immerse yourself in music with the amazing sound system. That’s if you’re not making your own music on the grand piano.

More surprises await in the seven ensuite bedrooms, where the smallest bed is king sized and the interiors are inspired by the best hotels around the world. There’s always someone who likes pink, so they’ll be delighted with the dreamy Pink Room, and the funky Black and White Room will also be popular. We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at La Cachette just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

Situated on the edge of the bustling Cotswold market town of Chipping Norton, approximately 45 minutes’ drive northwest of Oxford.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 11am on the day of your arrival and check out is at 11am.
How many cars can park at the property?

There is parking for around 8 cars at the property.
Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome at La Cachette. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Children's cutlery and plates are also provided. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the swimming pool and ice bath in the grounds.
Are pets allowed?

One well behaved dog may be accepted by prior consent (maximum two dogs depending on the breed), subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss on 01242 352747. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, in the bedrooms, in the cinema room or on the soft furnishings.
Are stag and hen parties allowed?

Sorry, La Cachette is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.
Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?

Yes, you can order online with Ocado for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.
How many guests can sit at the dining table?

The dining table can seat up to 20 guests.
Can you recommend any local places to eat out?

Are additional day guests allowed at the property?

The maximum sleeping capacity of the property is 14 guests, but an additional 6 day guests may be permitted, by prior arrangement only, for no additional charge. Please call us before booking to discuss on 01242 352747.

The nearest train station is Kingham (5 miles).
What is the nearest airport?

The nearest airports are Birmingham (44 miles) or Heathrow (70 miles).
Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?

Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £2,500 during your stay at La Cachette. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
