From its honey-stoned walls to its old oak beams, Rose Beech Cottage is a dream Cotswold retreat. And from its heated outdoor swimming pool to its all-weather tennis court, it’s a luxury playground for your exclusive use. Satnav your way to a small Cotswold hamlet near Cheltenham, and descend on this idyllic six-bedroom hideaway for a laid-back get-together.
Survey the manicured gardens - your introduction to three acres of outdoor space - before stepping through the rose-scented doorway into the hall. Catch the morning sun in the farmhouse kitchen, breakfast aromas greeting you from the four-oven Aga. Take your coffee to the terrace and gaze at the Cotswold countryside. Group and regroup in the reception rooms, keeping the open fire aglow in the drawing room, getting cosy in the living room snug and pretending to work in the study.
In the grounds, let the children take turns on the zipwire, then play tennis or croquet, dip in and out of the pool and relax in the hot tub. Later, when the children discover the games barn, with its pool table, toys and games, you can fix sundowners for the adults. Watch the sun set as you enjoy a barbecue by the pool, or eat in the wood-panelled dining room. Bedtime brings quaint bedrooms with exposed beams, antique furniture and country views framed by the cottage windows. The six bedrooms share four bathrooms across the upper two floors.
In the heart of the Cotswolds, Rose Beech Cottage is well placed for exploring this much-loved part of the world, with Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Cheltenham all close by. Alternatively, sit on the terrace with a G&T and enjoy your own private Cotswold views.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Rose Beech Cottage just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for around 10 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Rose Beech Cottage. One travel cot (linen provided) and one highchair are available on request. Children's toys, books and DVDs are also provided and there is an outdoor play area. Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the outdoor swimming pool (fenced), hot tub area and children's play equipment. There is also a small unfenced lily pond at the bottom of the garden.

Are pets allowed?
Up to three well-behaved dogs are allowed at Rose Beech Cottage, subject to a fee of £25 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Sorry, Rose Beech Cottage is not suitable for hen or stag parties. We politely ask that this is respected.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco or Asda for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining room table can seat up to 12 guests comfortably. There is a separate breakfast table in the kitchen that seats up to 7 guests.

Are additional day guests allowed at the property?
Additional day guests may be allowed, only by prior agreement with the property owner. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

Are there any other residents who live on site?
The owner lives in a small cottage next door and will be on hand to greet you on arrival. While they are on hand in case there is a problem, their intention is to be very discreet and only be present should you need them.

The nearest train station is Cheltenham Spa (8 miles).

The nearest airports are Birmingham (54 miles) or Bristol (57 miles).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Rose Beech Cottage. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).
