If you’re looking for a coastal get-away with family or friends that delivers on style, space and location, Seagreen House hits the spot. Hidden in the heart of Lyme Regis in Dorset, this handsome Georgian home has ample room for up to 10 guests in five luxurious bedrooms - and yet it feels as cosy as a cottage.
Wake up to breakfast served in the open plan kitchen and dining room with freshly brewed coffee from the De’Longhi bean to cup machine. Perch up at the breakfast bar or spread out around the dining table as you make plans for the day.
Wander through the historic streets of Lyme Regis dipping into restaurants, boutiques and galleries, take boat trips from the Cobb and go fossil hunting with the kids on the Jurassic Coast, all just a walk away from the house. Pile back into the boot room and wash off the sand in the adjacent shower room, before regrouping in the kitchen and dining area. Here, enjoy long, convivial evening meals with your favourite tunes on the Bose Bluetooth speaker and the log burner casting its cosy glow.
There’s an outside dining area too, as well as a soothing hot tub, after which you can relax in the cottage sitting room, with a movie on the Smart TV. Bedtime means comfy beds in smart bedrooms across the two upper floors, served by three high-end bathrooms.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Seagreen House just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.

What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 9.30am.

How many cars can park at the property?
There is parking for two large cars or three small cars.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at Seagreen House. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the hot tub area.

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved, medium-sized dogs are allowed at Seagreen House, subject to a fee of £150 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Stag parties are not permitted at Seagreen House. Respectful hen parties are sometimes permitted, but only with express permission from the property owner prior to booking. Please contact us to discuss.

How many guests can sit at the dining table?
The dining table can seat up to 10 guests.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Tesco for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

Will you hold a cautionary deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at Seagreen House. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

How do I book?
You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
