Stargaze Manor sits in a picture-perfect rural oasis. The soft green hills around you are within the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the North Devon UNESCO biosphere and a Dark Sky Reserve. And the house is designed to celebrate the views.

Inside, a log burner in a double-sided fireplace keeps two sitting rooms cosy. Gather for drinks, games and chats in the sunroom or take refuge in the lounge with its 55" OLED Smart TV. Enjoy entertaining from the farmhouse style chef’s kitchen, serving up in the dining room, with windows that frame the views. Sink into the sunroom armchairs afterwards, to gaze at the gentle, green landscape.

With its own lawned garden and flower meadow, Stargaze Manor shares a private 17-acre estate with five safari style glamping pods, set away from the house. This means you have access to a hot tub with spectacular views (additional fee), a games field, a lake for wild swimming or boating, and natural woodlands with crystal-clear streams. After a day of activities, light the Kadai fire bowl in the back garden and gaze at the Milky Way. 

The sleeping arrangements are great for a friends’ holiday or a group of families, with six bedrooms accommodating 20 guests in total. Rooms sleep from two to five guests and zip-and-link beds mean they can be configured to suit you. Two of the rooms are on the ground floor for easy access. This natural idyll is on the edge of Exmoor, just three miles from the coast and a million miles from everyday life. It’s a tranquil retreat where you can switch off and find peace.

What to Expect

Stargaze Manor Hot Tub

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at Stargaze Manor just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.
