Welsh mountain air, lovely living spaces and a sense of peace make The Barn at Mynach a wonderful setting for bringing people together. Set within 13 acres of Ceredigion countryside, this beautifully restored barn accommodates up to 29 guests in three self-contained but interconnected duplex apartments - ideal for family celebrations, milestone occasions, corporate and wellbeing retreats, or groups of friends holidaying together.
The exposed stone walls, soaring oak timbers and cosy wood-burning stoves are all part of its rustic charm. The three apartments give everyone space to relax in their own surroundings, while the central Atrium, games room and garden provide inviting places to gather and enjoy time together.
There’s plenty to make the most of during your stay, from relaxing in the private 10-person hot tub to enjoying a film on one of the Smart TVs or getting competitive in the games room. Take in the views of the Cambrian Mountains from the garden, enjoy a picnic beside the lake, or field your two best teams for a rugby or football match on the full-size pitch.
The flexible bedroom configurations have everything from a romantic room for two with its own Juliette balcony to family suites sleeping up to five, and ensuite wet rooms with Myddfai toiletries.
Peacefully tucked away in the Ceredigion countryside, The Barn is also a great base for exploring Wales, from the mountains of Snowdonia to the coast and landscapes of Pembrokeshire.

The Barn at Mynach shares the estate with the neighbouring Mynach Farmhouse. For larger gatherings, you can book both together for a group of up to 39 guests and enjoy exclusive use of the 13-acre estate as well as a second hot tub.

We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at The Barn at Mynach just perfect. In all of our large houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group. Here’s a list of all the practical provisions we have at the house. If there’s anything you can’t see here but need, just ask as we’ll see what we can do.
Just a short distance from the world-famous Devil’s Bridge (a few mins' drive() and Aberystwyth (22 mins' drive). Situated in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, The Barn at Mynach is in the perfect location for exploring the surrounding countryside, walking, bird watching, relaxing and more.
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).
Up to 3 dogs are welcome (no extra charge). Water bowls and welcome biscuit treats are provided.
Children are very welcome at The Barn at Mynach. Cots and highchairs are available on request, subject to availability (please bring your own cot linen). Please let us know when you book if they are required.
Stag parties, all male groups or joint hen and stag parties are not permitted at this property. Respectful hen parties are sometimes permitted, but only with express permission from the property owner prior to booking. Please contact us to discuss your booking on 01242 352 747.

A lovely place to eat, just 5 minutes' drive (or 15 minutes' walk) from the property and only a few steps away from the world famous Devil's Bridge waterfalls.
Y Ffarmers
Y Ffarmers is a country dining pub in the pretty village of Llanfihangel y Creuddyn, just 15 minutes' drive from the property.
The nearest train station is Aberystwyth station (22 mins) which has a service running to Birmingham International Airport and a number of other connecting stations.
The nearest airports are Cardiff (2 hours, 45 mins), Birmingham (2 hours, 47 mins), Liverpool (2 hours, 47 mins) and Manchester (2 hours, 48 mins).
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at The Barn at Mynach. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
