Drive past organic pastures and over an old stone bridge to reach The Hideaway, a country escape with panoramic views and contemporary comforts. Open the door to this larch-clad longhouse and step into a huge, sociable space, where you can cook, eat, lounge and laugh together. Sink into velvet sofas and feel the warmth of the flames from the modern fireplace. Pour Prosecco for your guests and let them sit round the kitchen island, chopping and chatting as meals are prepared - there’s a separate catering kitchen too, if you need it. Gather everybody to the long table which seats 24 comfortably. If the children are playing upstairs, they won’t be late to the table because they’ll scoot down on the wooden slide! Slip away to the cinema snug for surround-sound movies, books and games. Or slide open the doors to the covered terrace for barbecues, hot tub fun and far-reaching views.
Let the children loose in the gardens, where there’s play equipment, cricket and croquet sets, and two acres to explore. When the sun dips, load up the outdoor log burner and gather round to share stories of your day. At bedtime, the 10 ensuite rooms each have their own character, and all are modern and inviting. What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and check out is at 10am (or 4pm if checking out on a Sunday).

How many cars can park at the property?
There is ample parking for around 10 cars at the property.

Are children welcome?
Children are very welcome at The Hideaway. Two travel cots and two highchairs are available on request (please bring your own cot linen). Please note, parents should supervise children at all times around the play area and hot tub area.

Are pets allowed?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed at The Hideaway, subject to a fee of £50 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.

Are stag and hen parties allowed?
Hen parties are allowed, but sorry we're not able to accept stag party bookings at this property.

Can I arrange a supermarket delivery to the house?
Yes, you can order online with Tesco, Waitrose or Sainsbury's for a delivery direct to the house. We usually suggest booking a delivery for after 4pm on the day of arrival.

The nearest train stations are Bristol Parkway (9 miles - 15 minute drive) with direct trains from London Paddington, or Yate (5 miles - 10 minute drive).

Will you hold a damage deposit during our stay?
Yes, we ask to hold a cautionary deposit of £1,000 during your stay at The Hideaway. This is requested just two weeks prior to your stay, and is returned shortly after, assuming no damage to the property or its contents (see our Booking T&Cs for more information).

You can check availability and pricing and place your booking request online, or by calling our team on 01242 352 747.
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 33% of the total price, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to your stay (or the full balance when booking within 12 weeks of your stay).
